Tepha, a medical device firm manufacturing proprietary biomaterial technology, brought in Wise to perform the installation of a dehumidification unit in their penthouse mechanical space. The unit’s size required Wise to saw-cut the roof, and replace the existing ballast once the unit was placed. Additionally, the dehumidification unit required a primary and secondary chilled water loop from new chillers, placed on the building’s rooftop. The ductwork for both the supply and return air traveled throughout several sensitive occupied areas, requiring close coordination with users and stringent procedures to mitigate dust, noise and other disturbances.
