The Berklee Center at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government is a university-wide center for the study of nonprofit organizations and civil society. The fast-track,12,000 SF renovation consisted of office space, meeting and convention rooms including state-of-the-art AV equipment, Lutron System, custom auditorium seating, raised structural concrete floors, specialty glazing and specialty millwork. Many HVAC and electrical improvements including upgrades to all MEP systems, miscellaneous metals, custom glazing, new wall systems and all new finishes were also included. Challenges include working in occupied space, strategic dust protection and barriers.
