This was a project with an extremely aggressive schedule compounded by penalties that would be assessed against the client if they did not move in on a certain date. Everything had to be accelerated at record pace from demo stage straight through to completion.
In less than 75 days (not just business days) we completed this 11,000 SF project that included outside roof work using cranes to cast a new emergency generator.
New utilities were installed throughout the space to support the construction of two BL-2 laboratories with new fume hoods.
Our team also saved time and averted disturbing adjacent tenant spaces by rigging mechanical ductwork through an old, abandoned elevator shaft.
Even with a host of scope changes and time restrictions brought on trying to secure access to adjacent occupied office spaces, we were able to help the client meet their deadline and exceed their expectations for the new lab space.
