Tuross Earth and Planetary research lab

Construction manager for the construction of an earth planetary research laboratory facility on the top floor of the Peabody Museum. The project included installation of acid resistant rubber flooring with integral base and floor drains and a pH neutralization system. We upgraded the electrical service and the chilled water service. A vacuum system and compressed air supply were also installed in the wet lab. The finish work included custom designed millwork with aluminum trim and detail. The project also included the installation of a mass spectrometer. Safety and containment issues were a high priority due to the proximity of a valuable Indian headdress collection housed on the floor below the Tuross Lab.
