Education

Thomspon Island Expedition Center

Construction of a 50 unit dormitory and the Lewis Expedition Center on Thompson Island in Boston Harbor. The project posed several challenges unique to working at an island location including the transport of personnel, equipment and materials, addressing permitting and compliance issues, working with state and local agencies,selecting skilled subcontractors capable of working at new construction. The Expedition Center is being used as the covening area for all Outward Bound Expeditions. Over the course of four years, Wise Construction has worked on multiple buildings accross the island.
