(Winchester, MA – August 13, 2007) ~ Wise Construction Corporation, Winchester-based general contractors and construction managers, recently announced that Laurence (Larry) Hamel has joined the company’s construction management team as a senior project manager. Hamel will be responsible for managing the firm’s new construction and renovation projects, including for clients such as Resolvyx Pharmaceuticals, Biogen IDEC; and several area hospitals.

Hamel brings a vast range of professional experience to the firm’s construction management team, including over 25 years in the industry, managing the preconstruction and completion of numerous projects in the healthcare, educational and corporate fields throughout New England. Larry brings a diverse background of construction experience with such clients as; The General Services Administration, Department of Justice, Department of State, The United State Air Force, Navy and Army Corp of Engineers. He also served as a project manager for clients at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Hallmark Health, Umass Medical Center, and Massachusetts Eye & Ear.

 

In addition, Hamel managed the Silver LEED certified Conservation Law Foundation project.
